Hobe and Lucas is pleased to announce the appointment of Louis Loparo, CPA.CITP to Partner. Louis, who has been with the firm since 1998, handles traditional CPA services for his clients and has a focus in accounting systems consulting. Internally Louis oversees the technology operations of the firm. He has experience in many different industries, but primarily focuses in the healthcare, professional services, not-for-profit and construction industries. Louis is a problem solver, and has made a positive impact on the business due to his ability to listen and identify client issues, resolving them in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
Louis is also our accounting systems expert. As a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), a technology certification only available to CPAs, he is able to leverage current and emerging technologies to help clients improve their business by refining existing systems, implementing new systems or otherwise finding solutions to client challenges.

Louis graduated from Kent State in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. He enjoys helping his parish, SS Robert and William, as a finance consultant, and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and The Northern Ohio Italian American Foundation—where he sits on the membership retention committee.
